FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Finding the right fit shouldn't be the hardest part of hat shopping.
Our age ranges are a great starting point, but every kid is different. Most Rare Kids hats includes an adjustable back closure so you can fine tune the fit as they grow. If they're between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up.
How to Measure
Use a flexible measuring tape to measure around the widest part of your child's head:
✓ Just above the eyebrows
✓ Just above the ears
✓ Keep the tape comfortably snug but not too tight

Between Sizes?
Buying as a gift?
→ Size up.
Nearly 4 years old?
→ We'd usually recommend Child.
3 years with a big noggin'?
→ Best to go with Child.
Petite child?
→ Toddler may still fit.
